A hands-on robot programming class was held for elementary school students in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture, as part of the "Kodomo to Daigaku da" (Children, University, and Toda) project, a collaboration with Toda City.

Two papers were presented at SICE 2022 annual conference.

Mr. Takuya Watarai, a fourth-year undergraduate student, received the Excellent Presentation Award at the 12th Student Research Presentation Conference hosted by the Tokyo Section of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.

One paper was presented at LIFE2022 (the 21st Annual Conference of the Japan Society of Life Support Engineering, the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers Welfare Engineering Symposium 2022, and the 37th Annual Conference of the Japan Society of Life Support Engineering).

Mr. Yuji Asai at our laboratory received IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Japan Young Researcher Award.
